Podcast NYC: Pop Culture Rant #52
Where have you gone Michael Richards? Not a question that too many people will have to ask given recent events. It is the most miserable time of the year. As Christmas nears, people get petty. Going deeper into debt. Fighting over stupid Elmo dolls and video game systems. Getting depressed over relationships. Sadly, we have to touch on the dark side of the Christmas season.
And speaking of Christmas. When did it become a crime to say, "Merry Christmas" or to have a "Christmas Party". Sometime between 1980 and 1990 I think.
Plenty of celebrity breakup news. Plus Madonna buys a kid.

Hi Robert, great show, it's nice to hear a voice of reason when it comes to celebrity screw-ups. How awesome would it have been if Oprah had asked Madonna, "so, shouldn't you be home with your new child instead of sitting here with me?". But of course that would never happen. It's a bit early but Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family,
Peace
Thanks Keith. Merry Christmas to you.
Hi, nice music! I think holiday parties are fine, unfortunatley some employers pressure people to go or make asumptions about people's morals or religion if people don't want to go. It only takes a few jerks to mess up something that should be a nice bonus. Do you have good or bad experiences with holiday parties? PLEASE podcast more, there's so much to discuss, especially with Youtube and digital culture.
As for me, I'd rather hang out at home if I'm not being PAID at work! Also I don't celebrate Kwanzaa but am sure most people who do also celebrate Christmas along with it.
