Hi Robert, glad to hear another show. I just thought I'd share my disappointments with the Olympic coverage here in Toronto. It seems as if every time I turned on my local affiliate of the CBC it was always a hockey game. Not being much interested in hockey I never watched, but sure enough hours later if I turned it on again...hockey. I wanted to see speed skating and luge and skiing, even curling can be fun to watch, really! But always with the hockey. We can see the same players playing NHL games 3 times a week for god sakes! I'm with you on the Olympics on demand. Pay a reasonable "event" fee and have several channels, each devoted to a sport.

To Keith's comment: The hockey thing doesn't surprise me in Canada. My Canadian co-workers are crazy for the sport and it is the national sport in Canada, no? So the network is playing to the mass crowd. Hopefully things will change in 2010 with the trend toward video on demand for cable getting more popular. The final ratings were poor in the U.S. so they've got to get smart sometime.

To Anonymouse: (intentional mis-spelling there by the way) Can't help ya there. I love to vent. It's cathartic. My spirits are especially buoyed when I know that the haters are stopping by.

Robert,
Where are you, man? Miss your biting commentary without compromise. Guess you're busy but let's get a few more of those 'casts out soon, huh?

Thanks,
Jeff

Jeff,

It's been hell for the past two weeks. As you'll hear about soon I've been sparring with medical billing firms over year old claims. Lovely way to spend my spare time. So that will be at the top of my list when I get a new one recorded this week.

Cheers,

Rob
