Rob, much respect for the candid 'cast. Though I'm not bald/balding, I have a dark, flat mole on my nose that brought me absolute hell through the years. Sometimes I wear make up to cover it, sometimes I say F-IT and go natural depending on mood, based on how self-conscious I feel that day. But I actually feel freer without the makeup. When it's on, I'm always concerned about it being smudged or whatever, but when I'm without it I feel great til the vanity hits. So far I've been "clean" in 06....
And I'd also like to add (yes, that's me above) thanks for the 'cast, man.
You're welcome. At some point in our lifetimes we start to look at ourselves differently when we look in the mirror. We gain a more critical eye. And it's a real slippery slope if you start to dwell on all these things. I've slid! Trying my best to reverse that trend.
The thing is that once we get one imperfection "fixed" then something else catches our eye. Look at some of these celebrities who get surgery after surgery. The lips, the breasts, the eyes, the nose and so on.
It's a lot cheaper and less painful in the long run to accept our glorious imperfections. It's taken me a while to figure that out.
Hey Rob, another great show... I am glad you stopped the insanity in your personal life... I actually took a little stock in that... Everytime I look in the mirror in the morning, I wonder what I can do to cover up that recedeing scalp... Your comment about the "people who love you" really hit home, and helped me say "F#ck" everyone else! Thanks dude.
Now, as for Dick Clark. I was one of the people who initially made fun of him. I see your case about how we should admire his effort... But (you knew this was coming, right?) Dick Clark has probably done more to hurt the self confidence of senior citizens that almost any celebrity out there. This guy has been the but of plastic surgery jokes since I was a kid! Has he had the balls to grow old gracefully? No. Thus he does not get my full respect.

Also, I wonder if the Simpsons are trying to create a "good sister, bad sister" thing. That may explain the black hair on Ashlee. Just remember with the Simpsons (and not Homer) it's all about imaging and creating an image, since the music won't sell itself...and this may have something to do with all of this
Good points. Some of those videos you're talking about are truly scary. I still think that Pam and Tommy Lee took it to a whole new level for better or for worse.
Looks like Ashlee has gone back to blonde lately. Who knows. The music definitely doesn't sell itself. I wish whoever is selling (or buying) it would save us all and stop!
Stop spending your time and energy publicizing your opinions on Ashlee Simpson and get a life. No one gives a crap what you think of her hair color, what are you, sweet? Get a life mushmelon.
I've got a life loser. Go back to your trailer and figure out a way to upgrade to a double wide.
