Podcast NYC is no longer accepting submissions of Podsafe Music. That's the bad news. The good news is that we've got a new site called Music Buggy. Music Buggy is all about helping independent artists promote their music to podcasters and music fans all over the world. So please feel free to visit www.musicbuggy.com where you can submit your podsafe mp3 files and a whole lot more. We look forward to seeing you there.

Podcast NYC Music Submission

Podcast NYC encourages the submission of music submission by independent artists who own their material. Artists who submit their info will be considered for inclusion in Podcast NYC's Podsafe Music page and Alley Cuts music program.

The Podsafe Music page allows Podcast NYC podcast subscribers and visitors to the website to download individual tracks from the artists included on the page. All postings include links to the band's website, information on upcoming shows and (if applicable) direct links to the artist's CD Baby purchase page. Artists usually make one or two tracks available for download on the Podsafe Music page.

Alley Cuts is a 30 minute music show that features the work of an individual artist along with more in depth information about the artist. Six or seven tracks are typically required for a musical artist to be featured on Alley Cuts.

There is no cost to be included in Podcast NYC and artists involved realize greatly increased exposure among the worldwide podcasting community. Numerous other podcasts typically look to Podcast NYC for quality music further amplifying the positive effects of participation. A recent New York Newsday story on podcasting highlights Podcast NYC's involvement in this next generation music promotion technology.
