Okay, so I get pissy about iTunes caching podcasts then they go and do something like this. Sometime in the last couple of days my New York Minute Show podcast was placed in a very visible spot at the top of iTunes along with a couple of other travel podcasts including one from Rick Steves who is a travel info god. Humbled yes. Excited at the opportunity. Yes I am. I've already seen a big jump in subscriptions and downloads. Thank heavens that I'm on LibSyn. Too bad my graphic is weak, but they're obviously not judging just by the graphic. This development has put a little more wind in my sails and given me faith that independent podcasters can get recognized and build an audience without major support.
