As a person who's primarily a podcaster I'm not usually in the know about blogging related events. Thanks to my friends Mike and David I now know more about BlogOn 2005, a premier social media event. As I've said before I think that podcasters can learn a lot from bloggers so I always think that it's beneficial to bring these folks together. For that reason I'm assisting Mike and David in organizing a Geek Dinner the night before the event.

This Geek Dinner is an open event and anyone interested in blogging/podcasting/social media is welcome and would surely enjoy meeting some of the folks attending. Cameron Reilly of The Podcast Network will be in from Australia to share a pint and talk podcasting. It's going to be good!
