According to Adam Curry's partner in PodShow, their handful of podcasts have 3 to 4 million listeners. This clown's name is Ron Bloom and he appears to have lost his mind after ingesting the $8.5 million forked over by the suckers at Kleiner, Perkins and WebVan. The claim is made on the video located here during an interview given to CBS Marketwatch. Sorry folks, but there's no way that their podcasts have that many listeners. If he's not full of s@#t then let them back it up with some hard facts. Interestingly enough, later in the interview they say that their goal is to have 1 million listeners. Well which is it? Do you have 3 to 4 million listeners or is your goal to reach 1 million listeners? People who are really into podcasting should beware of clowns like this who exaggerate figures and excel in silicon valley double speak. In the long run, they'll make the people who actually care about creating great content look bad.
